About Therapy pools

The successful Therapy Pool provides an important venue for people of all ages who are involved in aquatic therapy and other rehabilitation programs. Serving everyone from burgeoning aging populations to military veterans injured during service, Therapy Pools are becoming increasingly popular. The water’s buoyancy minimizes stress on the body for those who are not yet ready to exercise on land, and the warm water helps relax muscles and improve circulation, supporting low-impact but highly effective exercises that increase strength and range of motion. Special features like ramps and even moveable floors that rise and fall with the push of a button enable easy access to the pool’s beneficial environment. Rowley International is proud to contribute to such projects that help improve the health and quality of life for so many individuals. We have designed and engineered many Therapy Pools, some as part of larger facilities and some, like the project featured here, are within dedicated aquatic therapy centers.
